The Durham County Lady Veterans Association held their Waltz Stableford competition at Billingham G C and the Billingham threesome of Sheila Laverick, Judith Kirk and May McKenzie ran out Winners with 79pts.

Off to a good start with a win 13 - 11 over a very strong Saltburn team.
Durham County and Inter-County Foursomes - Tyneside G C - Sat 19th April 2008
A tremendous achievement by Martin Lee and Rob Moon in winning the County Foursomes against Brancpeth 5 & 4 and then in a great tussle with Northumberland representatives, Hexham, they pulled off the Inter County Foursomes by winning the last hole.

Outstanding results over the weekend from Martin Lee & Greg Johnson beating Woodham and Seaham on Saturday. On Sunday Martin & Rob Moon continued the good work with Quarter Final and Semi Final victories over Seaton Carew and Ramside.
We play Brancepeth in the Final on Saturday 19th April at Tyneside G C, 9.15 am start - All support will be welome !

A good day for Billingham golfers at Romanby with Les Crank & Peter Skeldon winning with 41pts, Mike Ure & Tony Auton were 2nd with 40pts and Alex Deans & Peter Riley, 3rd on 40pts.
